Online Classes for Adults
These classes for adults give you an opportunity to practice your developmental movement skills at home (or wherever you find yourself).
Class descriptions
This online class weaves together principles of embodied anatomy, developmental movement, the Bartenieff Fundamentals and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) to take you on a tour of your own body and breath.
Weekly on Tuesdays, online.
This class focuses on developing and practicing movement skills that support changing levels, including getting down to the floor and back up again. Movement explorations also include mobilizing and articulating our feet, rolling, crawling, getting into and out of sitting, and balancing.
Available as a private session/workshop.
This movement class explores developmental patterns in the context of our adult bodies. Moving through these patterns in our current bodies can help us understand our movement choices and offers a way in to adding more choices.
Informed by a Body-Mind Centering® approach to developmental movement, Rolling is an opportunity to consciously re-engage with the early learning process of finding our way to walking. Each class will start with rolling on the floor and sequence through several developmental movement patterns on the way to standing upright.
Weekly on Thursdays, online.

More on developmental movement for adults and elders
We believe that emergence and agency go together. As we define it, agency is the ability to make choices, to have an impact, and learn from experience. And emergence implies self-creation, arising from within a complex non-linear relationship with the environment.
At Babies Project, we offer developmental movement education for "babies of all ages." What do we mean by this?
We have a common personal history. We were all once babies and our earliest experiences as babies are still with us.
